The Roundhouse Street Circus team invites young people aged 11-25 with a passion for circus to attend a day long programme of circus activities in the Roundhouse. This includes a range of practical training sessions and the opportunity to see Lexicon by the UK’s leading contemporary circus company NoFit State.
We are inviting young people from across a range of youth circuses and circus training programmes across London and beyond. This is an opportunity to meet peers from other youth circuses, develop circus skills and gain behind the scenes insight into putting on a circus production.
What will this include?
- Take part in a series of workshops including acrobatics and parkour, core circus skills and experimenting with live sound
- Get a behind the scenes experience of a circus production through meeting members from NoFit State’s creative and artistic team
- Attend NoFit State’s performance of Lexicon in the Roundhouse main space
- Lunch is provided
Do I need any particular skills or experience to take part?
