Developed over a decade by Circus Alba, Let’s Circus and Bright Night International, the Circus Awards are a standardised way of marking the progress of circus students. Similar to levels in gymnastics, this is a flexible resource that can be used as a formal basis for curriculum and assessment, or simply a library of skills. Circus Rising will host a pilot of the Awards, prior to a full launch in Sept 2022, with the goal of establishing them as an accredited national scheme.

Circus Awards – Test Yourself!
An intro to the awards, and the opportunity to self-assess against the awards system. This will give you an in-depth look at the system, and the awards team an invaluable chance to evaluate this aspect of the scheme.
Circus Awards – Get Involved
The awards are designed to be collaborative and largely open source. The team have identified a number of areas where you can get involved. Your expertise would be very welcome, and we’d love to have you on board.
This session will take place at Circomedia on Tuesday, 22nd February 2022, 3.15pm-4.15pm, and Lost Horizon on Wednesday, 23rd February 2022, 1.15pm-2.45pm.
